Teaching Teams Programs

The goal of the Teaching Teams Program (TTP) is to improve classroom experiences and learning through the use of a teaching team.
A teaching team includes students enrolled in the course, who act as peer mentors, or preceptors, to their fellow students.  Selected high school students will come on campus for 8 weeks and participate in weekly seminars, while serving as peer mentors in their high school classes.
Why have preceptors in your class?

  • Increase learning outcomes
  • Create a more integrated classroom experience
  • Diversify content delivery through the use of student experience and innovation
  • Provide additional class resources for students through peer mentors
